AZ SUNRISE SERIES - Riparian Preserve
The Riparian Preserve event is the final leg of the 13th Annual Arizona Sunrise Series, held at Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch in Gilbert, Arizona on August 8, 2026. The in person race offers a chip timed 5K on a course that combines gravel and concrete paths around the park. The in person field is limited to 700 participants.
This event is part of a seven race series that awards points for each completed event. Points are weighted by age group and overall finish, and the series enters top point earners and participants who complete at least four events into a prize drawing. Series prizes include awards from the race organizer and three $500 gift cards.
Available participation options:
- 5K in person, limited to 700 participants
- Virtual run US addresses only; medal and shirt ship after the event
Race services and policies include chip timing with real time results and photos, extra water stations along the course, male and female age group awards for the top three in each category, and a custom series medal with event specific attachment. Event swag choices include arm sleeves, a tank, sleeveless or short sleeve shirt, or a no swag option for a reduced fee. Wheelchairs, strollers and wagons are welcome; roller blades, skateboards and motorized devices are not allowed. The event runs rain or shine with no refunds or transfers for weather.
