A.W. Marion Trailfest
A.W. Marion Trailfest is a multi-distance trail event near Hargus Lake in Circleville, OH, organized by RunFluent. The event offers several race formats on a looped trail course that is nearly 100% single track.
Distances include:
- 4.5 mile race
- Half Marathon
- Day Time 12 hour
- Night Time 12 hour
- 24 hour
- 24 hour relay
The course is a 4.5 mile loop that circles Hargus Lake, with rolling hills and about 450 feet of gain per loop and no major climbs. A few creek crossings may be wet depending on weather.
Cutoff rules: there are no cutoffs for the 4.5 mile race or the Half Marathon. Solo 12 hour entries must begin their final loop before the race enters its final hour. Relay teams must begin their final lap before the event cutoff. All laps must be completed before the event end to count.
Support and logistics: one full aid station is located at the start and finish area and will be stocked with water, soda, electrolytes, hot food and snacks. Runners may set up a single tent or table near the start and finish (10x10 canopy max). Crew access is limited to the start/finish transition area. Packet pickup is at the race site unless otherwise announced.
Mandatory gear: all runners need at least 16oz of personal hydration. Participants in 12 hour and 24 hour races must carry two headlamps or one with extra batteries, a foil emergency blanket and a whistle.
Awards: all finishers receive a finishers award. Top three male and female finishers in each solo distance and top Male Female and Coed teams will receive podium awards.
Refund policy: RunFluent does not issue refunds. Deferrals to future RunFluent events are available equal to the registration fee if requested within four weeks of the event date. No registration changes accepted after May 8, 2027. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
