AdventHealth Nighthawk Trail Run
The event takes place at Colt Creek State Park in Lakeland, Florida on February 6, 2027. Races are held on loop courses that use unpaved trails inside the state park. All 5K runners are required to start the race with a headlamp.
Distances available include:
- Night Owl 5K
- Coyote 10K
- Nighthawk Challenge 15K (combined 5K and 10K)
All in-person participants receive a premium cotton T-shirt. Finishers in each event receive a finisher medal. Nighthawk Challenge finishers receive an additional 15K challenge bonus medal. There are also virtual options: a virtual 15K challenge and a virtual 5K-10K option. Virtual participants receive the shirt, medals, bib, and other race items by mail; virtual 15K pricing includes domestic U.S. shipping.
The in-park courses are described as unpaved trail loops within the state park and the format includes both single-distance and combined-distance entries. Registration options include separate 5K or 10K entries, a combined 15K challenge entry that covers both distances, and remote entry choices that deliver race materials by post.
