Across Wales Walk
The Across Wales Walk is an annual challenge walk that crosses the principality of Wales on a linear route of 45 miles, to be completed within 18 hours. The event has run for many years and is described as a classic of the challenge walking calendar.
The event is organised as a full weekend package. The package includes overnight accommodation before and after the crossing, coach transport to the start and return to Clun, refreshments provided en route, and a presentation ceremony at the end. Recent editions have reported high completion rates and variation in format when required by circumstances; for example, one edition operated with a reduced field to meet public health requirements.
