Scenic winter trail running around Carsington Water in Derbyshire offering a half marathon and a 10k. Entries include a themed medal, chip timing and race photos, and marked routes with a GPX file available.

Choose your distance from 5k to Ultra on a tough off road course at Pengethley Manor. Experience vineyard trails with a seven hour time limit and unique medal options for individuals or pairs.

A winter mountain trail event from Brecon to Cardiff featuring a 47.5 mile ultra over 11 summits and a 26.2 mile marathon from Merthyr, both on unmarked routes with GPS navigation and staffed checkpoints.

A one way, fully marked 70k ultramarathon along the Taff Trail from Brecon to Nantgarw. The route moves from mountain landscapes to former industrial valleys and includes coach transfer to the start, checkpoints and live GPS tracking.

A 50 miles trail ultramarathon near Chester on 27 February 2027, covering 849 m of ascent with seven checkpoints and live GPS tracking. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and has a 17 hour cut off.

A 7 hour Time Challenge at Dare Valley Country Park on 28 February 2027 offering flexible distances from 3 km up to ultra and 50 km, with medals, distance pins, goody bags and on-course aid at each lap.

March 2027

Marked trail runs in the Black Mountains from Crickhowell, Powys, with 10, 20 and 40 mile options, stocked checkpoints, mandatory kit checks and cut off times of 5, 8 and 16 hours respectively.

A moorland trail event around Saddleworth offering 26 km, 43 km and 62 km routes that visit reservoirs and rough moorland. Entry fees include refreshments, tracking, medical cover and a post event meal.

Trail races at Loggerheads Country Park in March 2027 offering 5k, 5k canicross and a new 10km route. Varied terrain, riverside paths and a staircase section add distinctive challenges.

Trail races at Brynkinalt Estate near Wrexham offer 5k and 10k distances across a weekend, with canicross on Saturday and running on Sunday. Courses use private estate paths and include water stations, finish goodies and race awards.

A women-only 6 km trail event at Big G’s Gym in Edgworth on 6 March 2027 with official timing, marshals and a GPX route file. All profits support PSPA and Scallywags Pre-school.

A 32 mile ultra from Powis Estate in Welshpool to Caffi Wylfa in Chirk with two aid stations, varied terrain and finishers plates. The event includes parking options and an optional coach service from Chirk.

A 13.98 km fell race in Hayfield, Peak District, with 451 m of climb, held at Hayfield Primary School. Pre-entry and on-the-day entry are available; funds support the school and donations are made to Kinder Mountain Rescue.

Two Crosses is an LDWA challenge event organised by the East Lancashire group, next scheduled for March 14th 2027. It is listed within the LDWA challenge event category which is normally for longer distance walks with time limits.

Two community trail races in Abbey Village on 14 March 2027: a scenic 9 km trail and a fully off-road 2.2 km junior run. Both courses are marshalled with first aid cover, refreshments, and proceeds supporting the local school PTA.

A running event in Lytham on 14 March 2027 with a 5.24 mile coastal loop along the Ribble estuary. Competitors may complete as many laps as they wish within a six hour limit and receive an official time and a finisher medal.

A 50 km, one day trail run around Hayfield using the Pennine Bridleway, Pennine Way and Limestone Way, with a flexible start, self-navigation, GPX support and Ranger Ultras safety presence. Total ascent 1840 metres.

The Pennine Bridleway PB18km Trail Run covers 18 km from Hayfield to Rushup Edge and back with 806 m of ascent. It uses waymarked paths, offers flexible starts and on course support, and is self navigated under TRA and England Athletics rul..
