A coastal ultramarathon from Prestatyn to Bangor offering 50 km and 100 km routes with coastal running and inland hills. The event provides aid stations, drop bag service for 100 km, chip timing, tracking, and medical cover.

Trail ultramarathon event at Avondale Forest Park on April 25 2026 offering 50 km and 100 km distances plus a 100 km team relay with 31 loops and elevation from about 780 m to 1540 m.

Take on the Trooperstown and Clara Vale Loop in County Wicklow, a scenic 21.5 km trail with big climbs and forest tracks. Fully marked course, part of the Leinster Half Marathon League, with prizegiving and an early start option.

Challenging Tibradden trail race in County Dublin on 29 April 2026 features a scenic 9.9 km course with 365 m of climb. Part of the Leinster League, the event rewards navigation and hill legs and requires mandatory kit.

May 2026

Three circular trail races from Brecon through the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, offered as 100 km, 75 km and marathon distances with marked routes, checkpoints, GPS files and mandatory kit for mountain navigation.

A guided run across the 15 Welsh 3,000 ft peaks in Snowdonia, covering about 30 miles and 4,000 m of ascent. Support includes transport, food stations, a mountain guide and a support vehicle; the route is shown as a non race event.

A circular 30 mile ultra through mid Wales on 2 May 2026, starting and finishing at Dol Lys Camp Ground in Llanidloes. The route follows Sarn, Glyndwr’s Way, Severn Way and Wye Valley Walk and reaches the source of the River Severn.

A trail event on 2 May 2026 at Carding Mill Valley offering a half marathon (one 13.1-mile lap) or a full marathon (two laps). Entries for the main race are limited to 200 and a virtual option runs the week of May 4th.

An open, self-navigated mountain race in County Wicklow visiting Djouce, War Hill, Tonduff and Maulin. About 15 km with 800 m ascent, free route choice, mandatory Level C kit and GPS navigation is not permitted.

A guided recce on 3 May 2026 of the Paddy Buckley leg from Capel Curig to Nantmoor over the Moelwyns in Snowdonia. The 35 km route has 2500 m of ascent and runs in small groups led by Mountain Leader qualified guides.

Join Carrick Mountain in County Wicklow, an IMRA league race with a long 7.9 km course and about 450 m of climb or a shorter sub 5 km option. Enjoy rugged trails, two big climbs and fast technical descents in stunning mountain scenery.

A 24 hour timed challenge along the Offa's Dyke Footpath from Prestatyn, with solo and team entries, GPS tracking, six checkpoints and mandatory kit requirements. Results are based on how far each participant reaches after 24 hours.

Three off-road fell races around the Preseli hills centred on Maenclochog village green, including a roughly 24 mile Preseli Beast with substantial ascent, mixed terrain and feed stations about every five miles.

A multi-loop trail ultramarathon in Church Stretton on May 9 2026 offering choices from 10 to 50 miles across four distinct loops with over 10,000 ft of climbing if all are completed. Central HQ provides long buffet and timed support.

A guided recce of the Hebogs leg of the Paddy Buckley Round, about 15 km with 1,580 m of ascent between Nantmoor and Beddgelert Forest. Small groups are led by Mountain Leader qualified guides with route knowledge for Paddy Buckley attempts..

Take on the Caradoc Classic, a scenic 3.5 miles fell race from Church Stretton climbing about 268 m. Part of the local Summer Series, this friendly community event includes junior races and on the day entries.

Tackle Brockagh in County Wicklow on Wednesday 13 May 2026, an IMRA mountain run with a 9.90 km main route climbing 414 m and a 4.80 km junior option. Fully marked, GPS friendly and part of the Leinster League.

Ultra-Trail Snowdonia by UTMB is a UTMB World Series trail running event in Llanberis, North Wales, held 15–17 May 2026, offering races from 25 km to 164 km with substantial elevation gain.
