About the race
The Welsh 3000's Ultra Run is a guided single day run over the 15 Welsh peaks that exceed 3,000 ft, held in Snowdonia, North Wales on 1 May 2027. The route crosses the Carneddau, the Glyderau and the Snowdon range and includes the traverse of Crib Goch.
The course covers approximately 30 miles (50 km) with about 4,000 m of total ascent. The event is organised by Adventure Awaits and is led by experienced trail runners who hold British Mountain Leader qualifications. Transport to the start, transport from the finish, a mountain guide and a support vehicle are included in the price.
Food provision includes premium aid stations offering a selection of hot and cold food. The organiser describes the day as a guided mountain run rather than a race. The minimum age for participants is 18. The booking fee is listed as GBP 180. Bookings open 26 September 2026 and close 23 April 2027.
There is an option to purchase event insurance called XCover that may allow a refund if a participant cannot attend for covered reasons. Standard event terms and a cancellation and refund policy are published by the organiser. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
