Tour De Yr Wyddfa is a mountain race scheduled for 23 January 2027 that follows a route around Yr Wyddfa. The main course distance is 43.5 km with total ascent of 2327 m. Options include whole, half, two-person relay and pair entries.

Check points on the route include Rhydd Du (571 527), Nant Gwynant (629 513) with a cut off at 12:00, Pen-y-Pass (648 555) with cut offs at 12:15 for the full route and 13:00 for the half, the path junction above Idwal cottage (652 601) cut off 14:45, and Gwastadnant (615 576). The GPX file is provided for the course but use of GPX is not permitted during the race.

Experience requirements are specified: full entrants should have three AL races or equivalent unmarked winter experience, while half entrants should have three AL or AM races or equivalent experience. A minimum kit list is mandatory and includes fully taped waterproofs top and bottom, two warm layers and a long-sleeved base layer, hat and winter gloves, bivvy bag, map and compass, at least 0.5 litre water bottle, food and emergency food, torch, whistle and mobile phone.
