Trail Running calendar near Brodick 2025-2026

The GBultras | Ultra Great Britain will take place in Stranraer on Saturday 8 August 2026.

Race Across Scotland is a legendary multi day 215 mile ultramarathon along the Southern Upland Way from Portpatrick to Cockburnspath, with over 7200 m of ascent. Entries are by application, places are limited and a waitlist is open.

Join Maverick Race in the Ochil Hills from University of Stirling for scenic trails through Hermitage Wood and up Black Hill. Distances from 5 km to 49 km with marked, timed courses, aid stations, free parking and a finisher medal.

The River Ayr Way is a scenic 44 mile trail from Glenbuck Loch to the sea at Ayr, winding through river valleys rich in wildlife. Each September runners tackle the 40 mile River Ayr Way Challenge ultramarathon.

The Glasgow to Edinburgh Ultra is a 57 mile point to point run linking the cities via canals and towpaths. Take in the Falkirk Wheel and Union Canal while testing endurance with live tracking and chip timing.

Join the William Wallace Running Festival on 10 Oct 2026 in Stirling for scenic routes past the Wallace Monument and other historic sights. Choices span a 1 mile fun run to 70 km with solo or relay teams and a lively finish at Stirling.
