Trail Running calendar near Trenton 2026-2027

Weekend trail event at Wentworth Provincial Park on June 13–14, 2026, with 4.59 km loops, 24- and 32-hour options up to 100 miles, camping and one aid station. Registrations include a shirt.

Trail event at Trenton Park on July 11, 2026 as part of Trenton Fun Fest, featuring a 1 km family run to the splash park, a 5 km gravel trail, and a 10 km double loop.

Trail event in Wentworth Valley featuring a reworked loop of about 12.5 km and 700 meters of gain. Multiple distances include a 25K and a shorter roughly 6 km Ghastly Gorge Giggle; start and finish at the Barn with a drink included.

Trail race in Truro on August 30, 2026 with 5K, 10K and half marathon options, chip timing, t-shirt, medal and breakfast included. The route uses the Cobequid Trail and finishes behind the NSCC Sport and Wellness Centre.

A fundraiser trail race on 20 September 2025 on the Cape George Hiking Trails offering 10 km and 21 km routes. Proceeds support the Strait Area Ground Search and Rescue team and t shirts will be available.

A 13 hour backyard ultra at Trenton Park where runners repeat a loop until time runs out. The event raises funds for Pictou County United Way and features a basic aid station and awards for most loops.
