Flying Brick Bellarine Sunset Run

The Flying Brick Bellarine Sunset Run is an annual community running event on the Bellarine Peninsula that features multiple distances and coastal scenery between Portarlington and St Leonards. The event is organised by a local family and supported by the community, and it includes a weekend atmosphere with local food, wineries, beaches and sunsets.

Race formats listed:

  • ProFeet Half Marathon out-and-back course finishing at Portarlington Pier. Walkers are welcome and there are no cutoffs. Medals for all finishers.
  • Steigen 10 km (10.5 km) finishing at Portarlington. Bus travel is included in the entry fee; booking is requested during registration. Walkers are welcome and there are no cutoffs. Medals for all finishers.
  • McColl's Transport Bully Buster 4 km starting from the event HQ in front of Portarlington Pier. This fun run is un-timed and awards medals for all finishers.

The Bully Buster 4 km aims to raise awareness of the positive link between exercise, confidence and young people’s mental health. The event acknowledges Wadawurrung Country and recognises the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country, culture and community. A backup date is scheduled for the morning of Sunday 14 February 2027. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
