ZULU CHALLENGE THUNDER BAY 2026

Zulu Challenge takes place at Boulevard Lake in Thunder Bay. The event offers obstacle courses for kids, adults and dogs across varied terrain. Obstacles are not revealed in advance. Participants for the adult course are tethered to their team during the course.

Adults 5 km up to 30 obstacles
Kids 3 to 7 years 1 km up to 20 obstacles
Kids 8 to 10 years 2 km up to 22 obstacles
Kids 11 to 13 years 3 km up to 24 obstacles
K9 5 km 24 obstacles

Children may enter alone or as part of a team and may move between categories based on ability when registering. Parents can run with their children and will be tethered together; a medal is awarded to participants who finish together. For the K9 category a harness and hands free leash are mandatory and aggressive dogs must wear a muzzle. The event policy states there are no refunds.
