Yellowstone Rendezvous Race : Event overview

The Yellowstone Rendezvous Race is a cross-country ski event held on March 7, 2026, in West Yellowstone, Montana. It is the 46th annual running of the event. The races are held on the Rendezvous Ski Trails, which are groomed and have rolling terrain. Six races run concurrently, with the following distances:

• 50k Freestyle
• 25k Classic
• 25k Freestyle
• 10k
• 5k
• 2k (open to ages 12 and under)

Awards are given by male and female age categories. The 25k races require participants to be at least 13 years old on race day; the 50k requires participants to be at least 18 years old.

Registration and logistics

Pre-registration with payment is required. Entry fees are nonrefundable and not transferable. The event is limited to the first one thousand registered participants. Entry fees include race participation, bail-out shuttles along the course, aid stations, finish area food and refreshments, race souvenirs and promotional materials, and the award ceremony.

Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Holiday Inn Conference Center. A late pickup option is available on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Povah Center for a $20 fee. Photo ID is required to pick up packets. There is a $5 fee to change race distance (K's) and additional registration fees to move from 10k to 25k or 50k.
