Event Overview

The Woodside Crossover trail run takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Huddart County Park in Woodside, California. The event offers four race distances: 10K, Half Marathon, 35K, and 50K.

Course & Setting

The courses travel through the forested slopes and canyons of Huddart Park and the Purisima Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve. Runners will experience trails under redwood canopies, mixed evergreen forest, and chaparral-covered ridge-lines. The routes include the Crystal Springs and Skyline trails, which are pine-covered, single-track trails. The environment is home to wildlife such as black-tailed deer, coyotes, bobcats, and grey foxes.

Event Details

Race day check-in and bib pickup is available from 7:30 AM to 9:15 AM. An early bib pickup is scheduled for the day before at a local sports store. The event has a total capacity of 450 runners across all distances. Parking within Huddart County Park costs $6.00, payable in cash only. There is an 8.5-hour time limit for the 50K race.

Aid stations provide runners with food and drinks, including energy gels, snacks, soda, sports hydration mix, fruit, and sandwiches. Organizers strongly recommend runners carry at least one 20oz bottle.

Awards & Amenities

The top three overall male and female finishers in each distance receive a custom trophy. The top male and female finisher per distance also get a sponsor-provided item. All finishers receive a custom medal. 50K finishers get an additional pint glass. Age-group medals are awarded three deep across several categories. A special "Dead Last Finisher" award is also given in each event.

A performance t-shirt is guaranteed for those who register by April 4, 2026. The shirt is made from a tri-blend fabric with moisture-wicking and sun defense properties. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
