Woodside Crossover

Woodside Crossover is a trail running event held April 18, 2026, in Huddart County Park and Purisima Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve in Woodside, California. The event offers multiple distances across mostly dirt single-track and non-technical fire roads, with long hills and substantial elevation gain. Hiking or trekking poles are permitted.

Distances:

  • 10K (6.5 miles, 1,400' elevation gain)
  • Half Marathon (13.0 miles, 2,950' elevation gain)
  • 35K (20.0 miles, 4,500' elevation gain)
  • 50K (30.8 miles, 5,750' elevation gain)

Courses are marked with colored surveyor ribbon placed frequently, with extra signs and flour arrows at complicated turns; blue ribbons indicate wrong-way trails. Aid stations supply a range of food and drinks such as energy gels, waffles, trail mix, salty snacks, soda, electrolyte drink mixes, and seasonal fruit; general first aid items are available but no anti-inflammatory medicine. The event is cupless so participants must carry their own bottle or reusable cup; collapsible cups will be available for purchase on-site for $5. Disposable timing chips are attached to the back of each bib and timing is handled with professional systems. Capacity across all distances is 450. Parking inside Huddart County Park requires a $6 cash fee. Dogs are not allowed in the park or on the trails. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
