Woodside Crossover
Woodside Crossover is a trail running event held at Huddart County Park and Purisima Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve in Woodside, CA on April 18, 2026. The routes run beneath multi-generation, moss-covered redwoods and pass small streams, gullies, mixed evergreen forest, chaparral, and manzanita on single-track trails and fire roads. Intermittent ridge-line views include sections on the Crystal Springs and Skyline Trails. Wildlife observed in the area may include black-tailed deer, coyotes, bobcats, and gray foxes.
Course surfaces are mostly moderately technical dirt trails and non-technical fire roads; hiking poles are permitted. Detailed course maps, turn-by-turn directions, aid station locations, and elevation profiles are provided for each distance. Distances and approximate elevation gains include:
- 10K (6.5 miles, ~1,400 ft gain)
- Half Marathon (13.0 miles, ~2,950 ft gain)
- 35K (20.0 miles, ~4,500 ft gain)
- 50K (30.8 miles, ~5,750 ft gain)
Aid stations supply energy gels, chews, Stroopwafels, trail mix, salty snacks, soda, water, Skratch Labs hydration, PB&J, fruit, and basic first aid items. This is a cupless event; runners must carry their own bottle or reusable cup. Races use disposable chip timing attached to bibs. Parking inside Huddart County Park is $6.00 cash only. Event capacity is 450 runners across all distances. Early bib pickup is available Friday, April 17 at Sports Basement in Redwood City. To be guaranteed a race shirt size, registration must be completed by April 4, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
