The Woodside Ramble is a trail running event on December 20, 2025 at Huddart County Park, Woodside, CA (1100 Kings Mountain Rd). The event has a total capacity of 400 runners and is sold out; the waitlist is closed. Distances offered are:

  • 50K (31.2 miles, 5,400 ft elevation gain)
  • 35K (23.1 miles, 3,600 ft elevation gain)
  • Half Marathon (13.2 miles, 2,600 ft elevation gain)
  • 10K (6.2 miles, 1,100 ft elevation gain)

Race entries are non-refundable; a 50% credit toward a future Inside Trail Racing event may be issued if cancellation occurs at least three weeks before the race. To be guaranteed a race shirt and size, registration must be completed by December 6, 2025.

Course, aid stations and logistics

The course runs on dirt single-track trails and some fire roads through Huddart and Wunderlich Parks, with sections under redwood canopy and ridgeline chaparral. Courses are marked with colored ribbon; blue ribbons indicate wrong-way. Hiking poles are permitted. Aid stations provide energy gels, chews, snacks, soda, water, Skratch Labs hydration mix, salt tablets and seasonal fruit; no paper cups are provided. This is a cupless event - runners must carry their own bottle or reusable cup; reusable cups are available for purchase onsite for $5. Drop bag service is not available. There is an 8-hour time limit for the longest distances; all runners must be off course by 4:00 PM. Parking inside the park is $6.00 cash only.
