Belmont Water Dog Run
The 9th Annual Belmont Water Dog Run is a community-supported, student-powered event held on September 26, 2026, at Twin Pines Park (1 Twin Pines Lane) in Belmont, California. The program includes in-person and virtual options across several distances.

- 1 mile : Fido Mile (dog)
- Virtual Run or Walk
Every participant in the 5K, 10K, Kids' 1 mile, and the Virtual Run or Walk receives a 2026 race shirt and medal; registrants may opt out of the shirt and/or medal during registration and receive a $5 discount per declined item (up to $10). A 10% discount applies when four or more runners register in the same transaction.
Dogs may only participate in the Fido Mile; dogs are not allowed in the 5K, 10K, or Kids' 1 mile. Dogs in the Fido Mile receive a bandana; one owner per dog. Additional family members who will walk or run with the dog must register separately. Parent escorts for the Kids' 1 mile must register in the Parent Escort sub-event; escorts do not receive shirts or medals. The race is not liable for individuals on course who are not registered.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Palladino Personal Training and on race day at 1 Twin Pines Lane. Course maps are provided and subject to change. Local road closures and police-assisted access will affect streets around Twin Pines Park. If a participant cancels at least 10 days before the event, a credit toward a future Belmont Water Dog Run may be issued less a $10 processing fee; credits are valid through the following calendar year, nontransferable, and there are no refunds.
