Woodland Trail Series (2026)

The Woodland Trail Series is a three-race trail series held at West Hill Dam, 518 Hartford Avenue East, Uxbridge, MA. The 2026 race dates are Thursday, June 25; Thursday, July 30; and Thursday, August 27.

Courses are well-marked and vary by race to cover different areas of West Hill. Most of each course runs on wooded single and some double track trails that are generally rolling and shaded, with the remainder on paved or gravel roads.

  • June: 5 miles. Water stations at about 2 miles and 3 miles.
  • July: 4.6 miles. Water station at the start of Delta.
  • August: 3.2 miles. Water station between Bravo and Charlie; BBQ after the race.

Each race is limited to 125 runners and there is no day-of registration. Bib pickup is available on race day near the start line (beach area). Parking is limited; limited parking at the dam entrance is about 0.75 mile from the start line. The start area gate will be closed at the organizer's stated time.

For safety reasons dogs are not allowed and the course is not stroller friendly. The series is organized for runners; participants who plan to walk portions of the course should notify organizers and may be asked to start earlier than posted times. Events are canceled only for lightning or other severe weather. A portion of each entry fee is donated to the Uxbridge and Northbridge Food Pantries. Entry fees (pre-registration) are $10 for one race or $25 for all three; no refunds. Division prizes are awarded by male and female age groups and series awards recognize fastest combined times.
