Woodbooger 5K

The Woodbooger 5K is a trail race of 5K distance held in the City of Norton, Virginia, as part of the annual Woodbooger Festival. The course uses the Flag Rock Area Trails within the Flag Rock Recreation Area, a local trail system and recreation site.

The Woodbooger Festival runs three days and highlights Norton’s natural resources, local folklore, and history. The festival features family friendly activities and centers on the region’s Woodbooger folklore, a Bigfoot-like creature associated with the Flag Rock Recreation Area.
