Wonderland Run : event overview

Wonderland Run is a weekend trail running event held on August 29-30. It offers multiple distances over two days, including the following routes:

  • 50 km
  • 37 km
  • 20 km (trail run and separate hike option)
  • 10 km
  • 2 km kids race

Course maps, race briefings and past results are published by the organiser. Aid station supplies and cut-off times are used on course; cut-off times will be strictly enforced.

Entries, pricing and rules

Entry pricing is tiered by date. Price ranges by distance are:

  • 50 km: $155–$215
  • 37 km: $125–$185
  • 20 km: $95–$155
  • 10 km: $45–$95
  • 2 km kids: $20–$40

Race day entries are available on Saturday only and are charged at the "really late" rate. A $20 fee applies to transfer an entry to another eligible runner. Minimum ages are set per distance: 50 km - 18; 37 km - 16; 20 km run - 15; 20 km hike - 10; 10 km - 10; 2 km kids - 2. A prior qualifying requirement was removed in 2024; entrants are responsible for choosing a distance that matches their fitness and trail experience.
