Event Information
The Grampians Peaks Trail 100 Miler takes place from November 5-8, 2026. The event hub is in Halls Gap, Victoria, Australia, approximately a three-hour drive northwest of Melbourne.
The main race covers the full 162km length of the Grampians Peaks Trail, with an elevation gain of 7,700 metres. The trail runs from Mount Zero in the north to Dunkeld in the south through the Grampians National Park (Gariwerd).
Race Options
The event offers several race formats:
- GPT100 Miler (Solo or Pairs): The full 100-mile journey.
- GPT100 Stage Race: The 100-mile distance is completed over four days.
- GPT100 Miler Team Relay: Teams of four run the 100-mile course alongside solo competitors.
- GPT100 Stage Race Team Relay: Teams of three tackle the stage race.
- GPT50K: An ultra-distance race covering the northern section from Mount Zero to Halls Gap.
- GPT33: A race on the final day covering the southern section of the trail.
- GPT100 Dunkeld Trail Races: Includes a 2km junior trail and a 5km family trail.
The event is part of the World Trail Majors series. Finishers of the 2026 GPT100 Miler (Solo or Pairs) qualify to enter the Hardrock 100 lottery for the 2027 and 2028 editions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
