Womp Romp takes place on October 25, 2025, at Wompatuck State Park in Hingham, MA. The event offers the following distances:

  • 10 Mile
  • 50K

Entry fees are $50 for the 10 Miler and $70 for the 50K. Registration closes on October 3, 2025, and the organizer has set a registration cap of 350 entries. A long-sleeve technical shirt is offered to participants who register by September 24, 2025. 10 Miler finishers receive a patch and 50K finishers receive a finisher mug. The overall event cutoff is 9 hours.

Course and logistics

The course uses a single loop for the 10 Mile and three loops plus an extra mile for the 50K. Each loop mixes single track, wide trails, and about 2 miles of pavement. The course will be marked with pink flags and arrows. Mud is expected on the trail. Each loop is roughly 10 miles.

There are three aid stations per loop: at the start/finish area (bathrooms available), at about 3.14 miles (no bathroom), and at about 6 miles (bathrooms). Aid stations will offer water, NAAK, candy, chips, pickles, fruit, broth, and items brought by participants. This is a cupless race, so runners should carry a hand-held or collapsible cup. Visitor Center parking is available but requires a three-mile hike to the start; driving from the Visitor Center to South Field takes about 15 minutes. Profits support Friends of Wompatuck, Free to Run, and Footprints. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
