Womp Romp

The Womp Romp is a trail running event held at Wompatuck State Park in Norwell, Massachusetts. The race follows a loop format utilizing a variety of surfaces including paved paths, rail trails, single track, and double track sections. The event is open to participants of all paces, including runners, walkers, and hikers.

Participants can choose from two distinct distances:

  • 10 Miles: A single-loop course.
  • 50K: A three-loop course with a nine-hour cutoff time.

The course is designed to accommodate individuals who are new to trail running while including technical sections. There are three aid stations positioned along the route providing water, sports drinks, and snacks. The event has a registration capacity of 300 participants. A Trail Animals trail event at Hale Education in Westwood offering a timed six hour option and a 3.5 mile singleloop on mostly singletrack around ponds. One cupless aid station at start/finish and limited parking with possible walking.
