Wolf Creek Trail Run

Event Information

The 13th Annual Wolf Creek Trail Run will take place on April 4, 2026. It is organized by the PB Kiwanis Club and the US Forest Service. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Kiwanis Bacon Memorial Park.

Distances

Three distances are offered:

• Half Marathon
• 6K
• 1.7 Mile Walk (WTF - Walk The Forest)

Location

The event is held on the Wolf Creek Trail in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The trailhead is located 0.60 miles north of the Highway Patrol Station, off the outer road on Forestry Road 3107.

Registration & Fees

Registration fees are $35 for the 6K run or 1.7-mile walk, and $40 for the Half Marathon. An additional $5 is added for day-of registration at the trailhead. The fees include a t-shirt for all participants. Medals are awarded to the top two runners in each age division for the 6K, the top male and female Half Marathon runners, and to each finisher of the Half Marathon. To guarantee a t-shirt in the correct size on race day, participants must register by March 30 and specify their shirt size.

Course Details

Participants must be able to complete the Half Marathon within 3 hours and 15 minutes, and the 6K within 1 hour. Walkers are directed to enter the 1.7-mile Walk The Forest event.

Amenities

Water stations will be available at the north and south Wolf Creek road crossovers. T-shirts and bibs can be picked up at the north trailhead before the race start. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
