The Woldumar Trail Run takes place on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Woldumar Nature Center in Lansing, Michigan (5739 Old Lansing Rd, Lansing, MI 48917). The event is presented by Lake Trust Credit Union and organized by the Woldumar Nature Association. Race activities take place on natural-surface trails through prairie, pine, wetlands, and hardwood forest along the Grand River on over 180 acres protected by the Association. Proceeds support environmental education and land protection; the Association engages over 7,000 students in outdoor education each year.

Pre-registration is required; there is no race-day registration.
Logistics and extras
The 5K has tiered registration fees: $30 (8/1/25–8/31/25), $35 (9/1/25–10/1/25), and $40 (10/2/25–11/2/25). A group discount saves $5 per person for groups of four or more registering together. Long-sleeve shirts are included with registration; additional shirts may be purchased for $20 while supplies last. Deadline to secure a desired shirt size is 10/19/2025.
Early packet pickup is on Thursday, October 30 from 4:00–6:00 pm at the Woldumar Nature Center (Merry Olds Room). Day-of packet pickup begins at 8:00 am. The course uses varied natural surfaces (no pavement); pets are not allowed on the course during the event; strollers are permitted but should be prepared for rugged terrain. Refreshments are provided after the race and children’s activities are offered during and after the 5K. Awards include hand-made natural wood plaques for overall winners, finisher medallions for all participants, and 1st–3rd place in standard age groups. The race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation and results will be available live and afterward on RunSignup. Photos will be available for download from the event photographer.
