Wisconsin Trail Series

Wisconsin Trail Series : April 10 to October 16, 2026

The Wisconsin Trail Series is a multi-event trail running series based in Oconomowoc, WI, produced by Silver Circle Sports Events. The series runs across seven races over seven months and visits routes in Waukesha County and Wisconsin state parks. Courses are described as varied terrain and well marked.

Distances and options include:

• 5K
• 10K
• Half Marathon
• Kiddo 1K (free with a participating parent)
• Rucking options available at 5K and 10K events

The series is walker friendly; walkers compete in a timed, non-competitive division and receive a finisher Woodle. Rucking is offered at all events. The series is cupless: aid stations provide water and sports drink but participants must bring reusable cups or bottles.

Registration notes and event services: series registrations are non-deferrable; participants may switch distances at no cost. An optional WTA All Access Pass is available to skip packet pickup; it is non-transferable and issued via an ankle strap. Race shirts are gender-specific dry-wick and may be declined during registration.

Scoring and awards: points are awarded by age-group placement (10 points for 1st down to 1 point for 10th; everyone receives at least 1 point). To qualify for series awards a participant must complete at least 4 of the 7 races and 4 races in the same distance for distance-specific awards. Additional amenities include finish-line fresh fruit, age-group and overall awards, and team challenge standings.
