The 25K includes three unmanned aid stations and the 12K has one turnaround aid point; aid stations provide water only. No cups are provided, so runners must carry their own handheld water.

A sliding credit scale applies for transfers or deferrals to other FlatRock events; refunds are not offered. Volunteer shifts earn benefits including a T shirt and registration discounts. A 10 percent military discount is offered to active duty and veterans. Runners are responsible for their own medical preparedness; local EMS will be used for emergencies.
Race conduct DNFs, DQs, dropdowns, and cancellation policies are enforced as stated by race management. Rules prohibit littering and course stashing; animals must remain leashed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
