Logistics, support, and rules
Time limits and cutoffs are set by distance. Examples: the 101K has a 24 hour time limit with approximate cutoffs at 25K (5 hours), 50K (11 hours), and 75K (17 hours). The 50K and 25K have extended cutoffs for the spring race to match the 101K final cutoff. Aid station support varies by distance: the 101K has 15 aid stations (11 fully stocked, 4 water only); the 50K has 7 aid stations (5 fully stocked, 2 water only); the 25K has 3 aid stations; the 12K has 1 fully stocked aid station; the 5K has no aid stations.
Drop bags and crew are allowed only for the 50K and 101K, with designated access points. Packet pickup includes a Friday evening option with a spaghetti dinner offering vegetarian and gluten free choices, and a race-morning pickup. Trekking poles are allowed. Dogs are permitted but must be on a leash. Race rules prohibit littering and course cutting and allow race management to disqualify runners for rule violations.
