Event Overview
The Winter Solstice Fun Run is organized by the Portland Runners Club and takes place in Portland, Victoria, Australia, on June 21, 2026. The event features multiple running and walking events alongside a free activity for children.
Distances and Courses
The event includes several courses. The 9 km event takes place on the Fawthrop Lagoon & Foreshore. The 15 km event is a lighthouse-to-lighthouse route starting at Cape Nelson Lighthouse. The 25 km event is the Yumbah Trail, also starting at Cape Nelson Lighthouse. A separate 1 mile event called the FFS Irish Mad Mile is also held. A free 1 km Kid's Dash is available.
Bus transport is provided from the Portland Ploughed Field to the start lines for the 15 km and 25 km events. The courses are not suitable for prams or dogs.
Other Information
