Winter Park Peak to Peak Summer Showdown : 2025 series overview

The Winter Park Peak to Peak Summer Showdown is the second annual five-race series in Winter Park, Colorado, running from June 14 to August 23, 2025. The series comprises five separate events at local venues and includes road and trail distances. Entry for participation in all five races is offered as a single series fee of $250.

The scoring system combines FIS World Cup style point scoring with a weighted race difficulty factor. Participants earn points based on finishing position in each race; each race score is multiplied by its difficulty factor. The series total is the sum of a participant’s top three weighted scores. Overall awards are determined in Open Men and Open Women categories only.

Partners for the series include Winter Park Ski Resort, the Winter Park & Fraser Chamber, and the Shining Stars Foundation. The last day to register for the series is Monday, July 1, 2025. Individual race pages and official race result files contain additional event details and race results.
