Williamstown Turkey Trot 5K

The Williamstown Turkey Trot 5K is a trail running event held on Thanksgiving morning at the Autumn Lake Winery in Williamstown, New Jersey. The course features a variety of natural surfaces, including hard pack dirt trails, grassy sections, and sand. As a rain or shine event, participants may encounter muddy areas depending on the weather conditions leading up to the race.

The event offers the following distance:

The race is professionally timed, and results are published online following the conclusion of the event. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. Registration is open to all, with a special provision allowing children aged 14 and under to participate for free when accompanied by a registered adult.

The course is open to strollers, provided they are capable of navigating the off-road terrain. Leashed, non-aggressive dogs are also permitted to attend, with the request that they start at the back of the field for safety. Check-in and bib pick-up occur on the morning of the event near the start and finish line. A portion of the proceeds from the event is donated to Lucky Paws Animal Assistance to support the relocation and veterinary care of companion animals.
