- 10K route, starts and finishes at Kirkpatrick Memorial Park
- 5K route, starts and finishes at Kirkpatrick Memorial Park
The ultra course runs north through Wiley Canyon and transitions from blacktop roads to gravel, with a short section on a minimum maintenance road. Wiley Canyon Road includes rolling terrain; there is little shade on course. Aid stations for the ultra will be approximately every 4 to 5 miles and will offer Tailwind nutrition, water, and snacks. There are no aid stations for the 5K or 10K. One drop bag is allowed at the halfway aid station (around mile 17) and must be clearly labeled with contact and bib information.
The event is self supported on course; outside crew or cached supplies are not permitted. Headlamps are required for ultra runners while running before sunrise with a 200 lumen minimum. Shoes are required. Reflective or high visibility clothing is recommended. Runners must follow the rules of the road, stay to the right, remain on or next to the road, and avoid littering; littering is grounds for disqualification.
Check in and packet pick up will take place the day before the race at the Grand Generation Center, 407 E. 6th Street, Lexington, NE. An event shirt is included with registration; registration by August 1, 2026 guarantees a shirt in the requested size. The race organizer may cancel the event for safety reasons; entry fees are non refundable under the organizer policy, though optional refund coverage is available through a third party for individual inability to attend.
