Whiterock Ultra
Whiterock Ultra is an annual trail event held at Whiterock Conservancy in Coon Rapids, Iowa. The conservancy is a 5,500-acre land trust along seven miles of the Middle Raccoon River Valley and maintains about 40 miles of trails used for race-day activities. Proceeds from the race are donated back to Whiterock Conservancy.
The event offers these distances:

- 50K
The 50K uses three loops identified as RED, WHITE and BLUE. The 50 Mile uses two RED loops, two WHITE loops and one BLUE loop. The courses have significant climb, with the 50K listed at approximately 3,000 feet of elevation gain and the 50 Mile at approximately 5,000 feet. Runners will pass two full aid stations roughly every 7 to 8 miles.
Awards include custom recognitions for the top three male and female finishers in each distance, and a unique award for all finishers. No refunds or rollovers are allowed after June 25, 2026; bib transfers are permitted through July 11, 2026. Registration closes July 21, 2026.
Whiterock Conservancy offers cabins, camping at the race start/finish, and nearby bed and breakfasts. The site is about an hour from Des Moines and 1.5 hours from Omaha.
