White Salmon Backyard Half and 4 Miler

The White Salmon Backyard Half and 4 Miler takes place in White Salmon, WA on June 13, 2026. The event is a fundraiser for the White Salmon Cross Country program; the organizer suggests an additional donation beyond the registration fee to support the team.

Distances offered:

  • 1/2 Marathon - trail portion about 12.3 miles
  • 4 Miler - trail portion about 2.5 miles

Both courses use Lollipop loops with road connectors. The road portions are roughly a mile each way to reach the trails. The routes include notable climbs and descents and provide views of the Columbia River. The course will be marked with paint and orange surveyors tape.

There will be three aid stations along the routes; participants are advised to carry a water bottle if conditions are warm. Registration, start, and finish are located at Rheingarten Park at N. Main Ave and NW Lincoln St. Day of registration is available at the start line and accepts cash, checks, and Venmo. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Participants who withdraw are asked to check in at the finish line so organizers know they are safe. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
