Wild Woman Trail Marathon and Race Weekend
Wild Woman Trail Runs organizes an all women trail race weekend at Trout Lake, WA, at the base of Mt. Adams in the Columbia River Gorge. The event is scheduled for June 19 to 21, 2026 and combines races with retreat-style activities and onsite camping.
Runners can choose from multiple distances offered by the event. Camping is included for participants and family attendance is permitted. The weekend program includes speaker panels, workshops, post-run meals such as pizza, recovery amenities including cold-soak tubs, and a communal lunch after the races.
The courses take place on Pacific Northwest forest trails. The marathon course crosses multiple mountain streams and rolls over gentle hills. The relay option divides the marathon course into sections; relay legs range from 4.6 to 8 miles. The 50k distance is presented as an approachable option for first or experienced ultrarunners. The half marathon provides a shorter trail distance on the same terrain.
Wild Woman began in 2012 as the first all-women marathon or 50k event in the country and continues to emphasize community alongside competition during a small-scale, grassroots weekend of trail running and camping. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
