Located in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania at 760 Unionville Road, the WCU Cross Country Season Opener takes place on the Unionville High School grounds. The meet features men's and women's 5K races on a grass cross-country course that uses two 2K loops plus a 1K loop, with only short pavement crossings. The grassy layout provides a traditional cross-country atmosphere for the season opener.

On-site support includes a West Chester University Sports Medicine tent offering athletic training and first aid, while timing and packet pickup are handled at the Start/Finish area.
