War Eagle Trail Races

The War Eagle Trail Races take place on June 6, 2026 at Hobbs State Park in Rogers, Arkansas. The Hobbs War Eagle began in 2010 and has grown since then into a regular trail running event that offers multiple distance options.

The event is organized as a charity and donates proceeds to the Friends of Hobbs and the Lions Club Scholarship Fund. As a charity event no refunds are given for any reason. This is a cupless event; participants must bring their own bottle or cup for drinks. The cutoff date to guarantee a race shirt is May 5th.

Race distances include:

  • 10K: short woodland run, ages 14 and older.
  • 25K: longer trail distance, ages 14 and older.
  • 50K: longest distance offered, ages 14 and older.
