War Eagle Trail Races

War Eagle, United States • 6 Jun 2026

Event Overview

The 21st Annual Hobbs War Eagle Trail Races will be held on June 6, 2026. The event offers three race distances: a 50K, a 25K, and a 10K.

Course & Location

The races take place on the trails at Hobbs State Park, which is Arkansas's largest state park. According to the organizers, these trails are among the most "runnable" in Northwest Arkansas, being not too technical or steep. This event began in 2006 as a 10-mile race with a couple dozen participants. It has since grown, and the organizers report having donated more than $100,000 to the Rogers Lions Club and the Friends of Hobbs.

Background

Hobbs State Park is situated on land that is acknowledged as the ancestral home of the Osage, Choctaw, Quapaw, and later the Cherokee nations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
