The Valentine's Day 5K is a 5K road/trail run held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Kinder Farm Park in Millersville, Maryland. The entry fee is $15. Annapolis Striders club members receive a discounted entry fee of $10. If the race is not sold out, race day registration is $25. The race is open to ages 8 to 100. It is the first race of the Annapolis Striders Championship Series for the calendar year.
Course and logistics
The course is mostly flat with two gentle rolling hills and is located around Kinder Farm Park. Runners start near a fire hydrant by the Jaycee's house and follow a perimeter trail that loops around the soccer and baseball fields, with a turnaround near the intersection of Greenbriar Trail. There will be no hydration tables on the trail; water will be available only at the start and finish lines, so participants are asked to bring their own hydration devices. Packet pickup and race day registration (if available) are scheduled before the race.
Timing, rules and awards
Timing is provided by MD Timing and results will be posted online. Rules prohibit headphones, strollers, rollerblades and pets on the course. Participants must follow race monitors and stay to the right on shared trails. Awards are given to male and female 1st and 2nd overall, 1st and 2nd masters, and in 10-year age groups.
