The Vale of Three Falls takes place on May 17, 2026, at Letchworth State Park Parade Grounds in Portageville, NY. The event offers three distances:
- Lower Falls 5K
- Middle Falls 10K
- Upper Falls 15K
All races are based at the Parade Grounds finish line and use an out-and-back route along East Parade Grounds Road.
Course and logistics
The course is a seasonal service road composed mainly of stone, gravel, or broken asphalt and includes significant hills and multiple scenic overlooks with views of the Genesee River. Aid station provisioning varies by distance: the 5K has one aid station, the 10K has three, and the 15K has five. Both days of the race weekend feature cup-free aid stations. Sehgahunda 26.3, 10K, and 15K participants are required to carry personal hydration while on course. The 15K has a midway cut-off at the Big Bend Half Way Aid Station; participants who do not meet the cut may be transported to the finish by event staff.
Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet at The Armory (155 Culver Rd, Rochester) on Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 15, and at the Parade Grounds Lodge on race day. Parking is available at the Parade Grounds, with start and finish within walking distance. Post-race food and drinks are provided and each race entry includes an event shirt; shirts are guaranteed for registrations before May 1.
