Seneca Sky Ultra
Seneca Sky Ultra is a trail ultramarathon held on June 19, 2027. The course is roughly 45 miles and uses trails on both sides of the gorge in Letchworth State Park, a site often called the "Grand Canyon of the East" and recognized by USA Today and 10Best. About 90% of the route is off road.
Runners move over single track, fields, foot bridges, and bridle paths. The event includes six fully stocked aid stations placed along the course. In some remote sections participants may travel up to eight miles between aid stations.
The race originated as Many On The Genny and has been redesigned and renamed Seneca Sky Ultra. It is organized by directors with experience running and directing trail events since 2012 who spent time scouting and mapping the park's trails during course development.
