Frozen Assets Endurance Run
Frozen Assets Endurance Run is a winter trail running event held in January 2027 at Harriet Hollister Spencer State Recreation Area in Springwater, NY. The course is an approximately 10k loop that starts and finishes in the park parking lot and follows mostly winding single track trail blazed for the S6 Endurance Mountain Bike Race.
Snow is likely on the course. Organizers advise bringing appropriate footwear and traction; snowshoes are not permitted. Runners should avoid groomed ski trails and be courteous to Nordic skiers. The course crosses the C4 snowmobile trail twice and snowmobiles have the right of way at crossings.
There are no on-course aid stations. The start and finish area will offer a modest selection of food and drink including warm apple cider Skratch Hydration, water, and snacks. There are no indoor facilities in the park; a single bathroom is available and the final quarter mile into the park is unpaved and may be tricky depending on conditions.
Frozen Assets is the first race in the Common Ground Winter Trail Series, organized by FarFetched Enterprises and partners. Series registrants can choose short, medium, or long options and receive bonuses such as free entry to the Go Forth event, series swag, and entry into a mug club draw. Registration uses a single price with no increases; transfers, deferrals, and refunds have no associated fees within published deadlines. The Race Director may disqualify participants for abusive behavior, littering, tampering with course markings, pacing from non participants, or course cutting.
