The Zion Ultras are a set of trail races based at Ruby Rider Ranch in Apple Valley, Utah, adjacent to Zion National Park. The event is scheduled for April 11, 2026 and includes multiple point-to-point and loop courses over desert mesas, singletrack, slickrock, and technical dirt trails. Aid stations are provided on course with water, fuel, fresh fruit, portable bathrooms, and basic medical supplies.
- 100 Mile - 97.6 miles; technical dirt, singletrack, slickrock; 36 hour cutoff.
- 100K - 61.0 miles; technical dirt and singletrack; 22 hour cutoff.
- 60K - 41.5 miles; technical dirt and singletrack; 13 hour cutoff.
- 30K - 18.9 miles; technical dirt and singletrack; 7 hour cutoff.
- Trail Half Marathon - 13.6 miles; technical dirt and singletrack; 5 hour cutoff.
Course, support and logistics
Courses start and finish at Ruby Rider Ranch and are marked with flags, ribbons, and reflective tape for night sections. Drop bags are allowed for ultra distances with specific size, labeling, and drop-off deadlines; drop bag return and mail-back options are provided. Crew and pacer access rules vary by distance: no crew or pacers for the half and 30K; crew allowed for the 60K; crew and pacers allowed for the 100K and 100 mile with designated access points. An expo and bib pickup are held the day before at Ruby Rider Ranch. Primitive camping is available at the ranch with tent, car, and limited RV options; on-site potable water and port-a-potties are provided, but no showers.
