2026 Utah Spartan Trifecta Weekend

The Utah Spartan Trifecta Weekend takes place at Snowbasin Ski Resort in Huntsville, Utah. The event is held at Mount Ogden, a location previously used for the 2002 Winter Olympics. The venue features technical alpine terrain and includes a vertical climb of 3,000 feet.

Participants can choose from several obstacle course race formats held over the weekend:

  • Beast 21K: A distance of 21 km featuring 30 obstacles.
  • Super 10K: A distance of 10 km featuring 25 obstacles.
  • Sprint 5K: A distance of 5 km featuring 20 obstacles.
  • Kids Race: Distances ranging from 1 km to 3 km including obstacles.

The Coldwater Traverse follows the scenic Bonneville Shoreline Trail in Ogden, Utah. Runners can choose between an 11-mile or a 16-mile course. The event takes place in late April.

A backyard ultra on a flat, fast 4.1-mile loop around Utah's scenic Mantua Reservoir. The event is scheduled for late spring 2026. This format allows runners to test their limits without a mandatory final distance.
