Trail Trek at Holiday Valley

UltraTrax Holiday Valley is a timed trail event located in Ellicottville, New York. The course takes place on the wooded slopes and ridgelines of Holiday Valley, featuring a mix of forest single-track paths, climbs, and loops through the local terrain. Participants can choose to complete the course as a standard trek or increase the intensity by wearing a weighted vest or ruck weighing 10, 20, or 35 lbs.

The event offers four different distance levels based on a repeating loop system:

  • 7 miles (Level 1: One full loop)
  • 14 miles (Level 2: Two full loops)
  • 21 miles (Level 3: Three full loops)
  • 28 miles (Level 4: Four full loops)

Participants have a 10-hour time limit to complete their chosen distance. Those who finish Level 3 or Level 4 within this timeframe qualify for the UltraTrax Grey Wolf medal. All finishers receive a custom t-shirt and a velcro patch.

The event base camp is located at the ski lodge, which features an indoor-outdoor bar and grill. Onsite amenities at the venue include complimentary parking, and participants have access to refreshments and food following the event.
