Bread of Life Outreach Center Wellness Day 5K Trail Run

The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Sprague Brook County Park in Glenwood, New York. It is organized as a community wellness day with running and walking options and supports the Bread of Life Outreach Center.

The event offers the following distances:

• 5K Trail Run (approx)
• 2 mile non-timed Trail Walk

Race day registration and packet pickup take place at the Sprague Brook Warming Hut. A mail-in registration option is available using the race waiver and payment. The registration fee for each event is $35 through race day.

The start and finish are located near the Warming Shelter inside the park. The course is primarily on wide groomed trails and grass. The first 100 people to register will receive a special keepsake blanket.

After the event, participants may go to the Bread of Life Outreach Center for a post-race gathering. All participants receive a food and beverage coupon and one door prize ticket. Trophies are planned for the first place overall male and female 5K finishers, and age group medals will be awarded for the following groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and older.

There is free parking at Sprague Brook Park; participants are asked not to park in the campsite area. Professional timing will be provided using Jaguar Electronic RFID timing and results and finisher certificates will be available after the race.
