2025 Turkey Trot Trail 5k & 10k

The event takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Gainesville, FL at Critter Creek Farm Sanctuary, presented by Lloyd Clarke Sports. Critter Creek is a 210-acre farm sanctuary and wildlife preserve. Approximately 125 acres are maintained as a wildlife preserve; the remaining land houses rescued farm animals such as pigs, donkeys, and cows. The sanctuary is a vegan property, and all post-race foods and refreshments will be free of animal products. A portion of each registration fee will go directly to the sanctuary.

The course is a 3.1-mile loop through fields and forests of the sanctuary, with open views of pastures and single-track trail sections. 10k participants run the loop twice.

Logistics and race details

Event registration is available online through RunSignUp and on race day. Standard entry fees listed are $30 for the 5K and $40 for the 10k; fees increase after November 13, 2025 at 11:59pm EST. Day-of registration is available until 8:15am for $50 (no T-shirt). Registration and check-in begin at 7am at Critter Creek Farm Sanctuary, and runners must check in at the registration table to receive a race bib. Packet pick-up time and location are listed as TBD.
