Event Overview

The OCR OVERLOAD – July event offers several disciplines, including obstacle course racing and trail running. The main OCR course is 4.3 miles long and features over 23 obstacles, including a large 140-foot finisher rig, mud holes, and various natural terrain features like fields, light swamps, and pine forests. Participants can choose from different heats and divisions.

Available Distances & Events

The event includes several timed runs and races:

  • Open Division OCR: Multiple wave starts between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM.
  • Elite Division OCR: A separate competitive heat.
  • 50-Yard Ninja Run: A timed sprint with side-by-side lanes.
  • Chainsaw Rick Benefit Heat: A fundraising event.
  • 5-Mile Trail Run/Walk: A course through mostly wooded areas with two water stations.

Race Details

Elite Division participants must achieve 100% obstacle completion to be eligible for awards and points. No penalties are given for failing obstacles in any division. A post-race barbecue, beer, and wine (for those over 21) are available on-site. There is a $10 cash-only fee for parking. Race packet pickup opens at 7:15 AM.
