Both distances follow a paved out-and-back route along the Archer Braid Trail. The course is described as flat and fast and runs through quiet countryside. A hydration stop with water and Gatorade is located at the 5k turnaround. Races are professionally timed. Awards are given to overall winners and to the top three finishers in each 10-year age group.

The event location is 12955 FL-45, Archer, FL 32618. Parking is available in the grass lot by the Archer Community Center at 16671 SW 137th Ave, a few blocks from the start line.
