The San Antonio Food Bank Turkey Trot is a 5 Km run/walk held on November 27, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas at 622 S. Flores Street. The event benefits the San Antonio Food Bank; each registration provides a turkey for a family. The race is chip timed and includes custom tech shirts. Finisher medals are provided, and the organizer notes medals for the first 7,000 finishers. Awards include overall male and female places (gun time) and 1st-3rd place male/female in 5-year age groups (chip timed) from ages 12-15 up to 80+.
Registration, categories and logistics
Categories include Runner/Walker, Virtual Runner/Walker, Youth age 4-11 with a paid adult, and Youth age 0-3 free with a paid adult; youth entries age 4-11 do not include a shirt and are not eligible for awards. Registration pricing is tiered: early registration through 10/31/25 is $40, 11/1/25 through 11/26/25 is $45, and race day is $50. A group discount of 10% applies for carts with at least six paid registrants. No refunds or deferrals are given for personal decisions; registrants may sell or transfer registrations following the instructions in their confirmation email.
Packet pickup is available on multiple pre-race dates at local churches and the San Antonio Food Bank; friends or family may pick up packets for a registrant. Race day registration and packet pickup are available. Team registration is set up so a team captain creates a team and teammates register under that team name.
