Turf Wars 2026

Turf Wars 2026 is Tone House's annual athletic challenge taking place on June 13, 2026 at Chelsea Waterside Park Soccer Field in New York. The event features ten sports conditioning events that combine endurance, strength, and agility movements, plus a surprise Wild Card finisher.

The competition uses a redesigned format with three Performance Zones. Each Zone has a 15 minute time cap. Individual competitors complete all three Zones with mandatory five minute refuel intervals between Zones. Doubles and Team competitors run in a gauntlet format on a single running clock without mandatory refuel windows.

Divisions are Individual, Doubles (two athletes), and Team (four athletes). Division winners receive medals and prize packages, and Individual champions receive a cash prize and the title Man and Woman of the House. All competitors receive an adidas apparel and footwear kit valued at over $500 when registered by May 13 to guarantee kit fulfillment.

Sample Zone elements include sprints and a one mile run in Zone One; rowing, Echo bike calories, and sled pushes in Zone Two; and sandbag clean and press movements, lateral drops, and harness sprints with walking lunges in Zone Three. Doubles and Teams have higher volume for these movements. A separate Elite Individual division requires competitors to wear a GORUCK vest and is scored separately.
