Tulsa Oilers Arena Challenge - January 31, 2026

The Tulsa Oilers Arena Challenge takes place at the BOK Center in downtown Tulsa, OK. The event is managed by Golden Driller Racing, an RRCA registered event management company that is insured and may use USATF certified courses as appropriate. Street parking and nearby surface lots are available; surface lots may require payment per posted signs. The course will be marked with stanchions, caution tape, cones, and course marshals at key locations.

Events and course details

• Fun Run: 1 mile (timed, no stairs)
• Stair Climb and Run: 5k equivalent (includes many stairs)
• Extreme Stair Climb and Run: 15k equivalent (longer, more stairs)
• Rucker Division - Stair Climb and Run: 5k equivalent with weighted backpack

The Fun Run follows one lap around the main concourse, then a ramp to the second level for one lap, and returns to the main level via the same ramp to the finish. The Stair Climb and Run includes trips around main, top, and club levels, climbs up and down interior staircases, and one full trip around the lower arena bowl. The Extreme course includes more interior stairs and two full trips around the arena bowl. The Rucker Division follows the classic stair course while participants carry their own weighted backpacks; backpacks are not provided. The Original stair climb uses a three-wave start grouped by expected 5k finish time (<30, 30-40, >40 minutes). Course maps and additional course descriptions are provided by the organizer.
