The Triple Top Mountain Run is a trail running event held in Tasmania. It has been held since 1991 and is considered one of Australia's iconic trail runs. The course covers three mountains: Van Dyke, Claude, and Roland.

Course Details

The event follows a technical single-track route. The total course distance is approximately 19 km. The total elevation gain is over 1,100 meters. The final section includes a descent of almost 1,000 meters over the last 5 kilometers, finishing on Claude Road. The all-time course record is 1 hour and 57 minutes.

The Great Train Race in Devonport on 24 May 2026 pits runners and walkers against a steam train along the Don River walking track to Coles Beach and back, with distances from 400 metres to 7 km and spectator train tickets available.

The second race in the North West Trail Running Series heads to the mountain bike trails of Wild Mersey in Railton. Choose from three scenic distances on flowing single-track. A community event welcoming runners of various ages.
